10 Excuses to Drink Red Wine

10 Excuses to Drink Red Wine

“The man who makes everything that leads to happiness depends upon himself, and not upon other men, has adopted the very best plan for living happily. This is the man of moderation, the man of manly character and of wisdom.”

My Great Grandfather lived to be 101 years old he resided most of his life in Salida, Colorado. He was from Florence, Italy with a gigantic appetite for life, he worked hard, ate well his diet was mostly comprised of the foods he grew in his garden and the meats he ate came from wild game the family brought home during hunting season. He also made his own wine and drank his own wine and attributed that daily regimen to his small list of longevity secrets. This might not be a good REASON for me to drink wine but it’s a damn good EXCUSE so I will ascribe this article to my Great Grandfather! This is my list of 10 Excuses to Drink Red Wine:

  1. Because; SOMEONE, somewhere lived a damn long time due to drinking wine every day.
  2. It makes Holiday Shopping tolerable, hell it makes shopping period, tolerable even fun.
  3. Has a tendency to bring happiness to ‘the situation’…or most all situations.
  4. Gives you something to look forward to and motivation to workout harder.
  5. It’s relaxing, and you’re less likely to want to cut off the air supply of others.
  6. Being that this is the ‘Excuses’ list for drinking wine, Wine can be a catapult for making other excuses. “O darn honey, I already had a glass of wine………guess I can’t work on that right now.”
  7. It sounds good, looks good, tastes good, feels good too.
  8. Deadens the ciaos in your world for just a moment.
  9. Selfishness lends itself to ultimate giving, i.e. Giving is the byproduct of selfishness this is called self improvement.

10. RESVERATROL; (substance found on the skin of red grapes that is said to have anti-cancer, blood-sugar-lowering and other beneficial cardiovascular effects also may have anti-aging effects). Resveratrol can be all the excuse you need wrapped up in one magical yet strange word.

Funny Acronyms for RESVERATROL:

Rendering Existing Situations Virtually Effecting Reactive Attitude Tribulations Relinquishing Optimal Love. Renew Energy Solidifying Verified Educational Research Acknowledging Technologies Redefining Our Longevity

Go now pore yourself a big ass glass of wine you have all these excuses to reflect on perhaps it will help you facilitate your very own list of excuses…..CHEERS to a beautiful life!!!
